Skills People and Van Elle Partnered to Enhance Workforce Skills

Van Elle Construction Training, our dedicated training and assessment centre, has partnered with the Nottingham Skills Academy to provide valuable work experience and training opportunities for individuals, looking to re-enter the workforce.

Our training courses, funded by the Department for Education (DfE) under the Skills for Life initiative through the Skills Group People, aims to help adults gain essential sector-specific skills.

The Skills People Group, a leading provider of construction-related qualifications, has supported over 8,000 learners in the East Midlands and South Yorkshire. Through fully funded courses and training.

Through this partnership, our training centre will be offering a series of courses certified by CPCS and NPORS, including Ride-on Roller, Forward Tipping Dumpers, Telehandler Slinger Signaller and more.

These courses are delivered through face-to-face training sessions at our centre, with participants required to attend all sessions to complete the course

Paul Dobson, Head of Training at Van Elle commented: “We are very pleased to have  partnered with the Nottingham Skills Academy to upskill young adults with the right training and skills to further their career. We want to support local talent and tackle the widening skills gap with targeted and intensive industry-specific training”.
