Van Elle Canada recently attended an event hosted by the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 793 (IUOE) and the Operating Engineers Training Institute of Ontario (OETIO).
The event welcomed David Piccin, the Ontario Minister of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development, who toured the Union’s world-class training centre in Oakville, engaged in discussions about issues and developments within the Canadian construction sector and met with apprentices.
David Piccin had the opportunity to view the Colmar T10,000 Excavator Crane brought in by Van Elle Canada for a new training program launching at OETIO Oakville in the spring.
The training program will equip future on-track equipment operators, underpinning their ability to successfully deliver major infrastructure projects.
