We are delighted to announce that Malcolm O’Sullivan, Chief Operating Officer at Van Elle, has been appointed as the new Chair of the Federation of Piling Specialists (FPS).
Malcolm officially assumed this prestigious role on 16th May 2024, succeeding the successful tenure of John Chick.
With over 20 years of experience in ground engineering and deep foundation construction, Malcolm brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the FPS.
His leadership will focus on advancing the core values and strategic objectives of the federation, with particular emphasis on safety, sustainability, diversity, and inclusivity.
Malcolm’s vision aligns with the FPS’s commitment to high standards, safety, and proactive collaboration with its members to drive industry improvements.
Malcolm expressed his enthusiasm for his new role, stating, “It is an absolute honour to be appointed Chair of the FPS. I am eager to build upon the strong foundation laid by my predecessors and to ensure our sector continues to punch above its weight within the wider construction industry”.
