Van Elle’s specialist ground investigation business Strata Geotechnics has been awarded an expanded role by securing a place on all five regional lots of the Coal Authority’s new ground investigation framework, located throughout the British coalfield areas in the following regions.
• Lot 1.1 Scotland East and West Region
• Lot 1.2 North East & Cumbria
• Lot 1.3 North West, North Wales & Yorkshire
• Lot 1.4 East & West Midlands & South Yorkshire
• Lot 1.5 South Wales & South West
The new framework will continue until February 2027, with work on-site expected to commence later this year.
As part of the £6 million framework, we will offer a comprehensive range of services including the implementation of various drilling and ground investigation techniques, core preparation and analysis, geophysical prospecting, topographical surveys, technical expertise, monitoring, reporting and laboratory services.
