We were proud to join forces with SPL Powerlines for their social value day earlier this month.
Together with SPL Powerlines and Adey Steel Group, we took part in a great collaborative effort to support the Holbrook St Michaels football club, in installing floodlight foundations.
We made a contribution by donating concrete and a volumetric concrete mixer for the installation of floodlight foundations. Thanks to the support of our supplier, Spot on Concrete.
ADEY Steel provided the essential holding down bolts for the floodlights. SPL demonstrated their unwavering commitment by coordinating labour and planning efforts.
As a result outstanding teamwork of all involved, the players have now been able to take advantage of a brand-new lighting system. This will enhance their training and matchday experiences.
As a company, we were proud to have been involved in this project. This reflects our shared values of supporting local initiatives and creating a positive impact on society.
Jamie Andrew, Senior Contracts Manager for Van Elle attended the day and commented:
“We are aware of the role the club plays in the local community and the responsibility they have to the wider society. It’s to be able to support SPL social value day in partnership with ADEL Steel has been very rewarding.
“This collaboration truly showcases the power of coming together to create positive change in our community. We wish everyone associated with Holbrook St Michaels football club every success for the future.”
