Van Elle, the UK’s largest geotechnical and ground engineering contractor, has appointed Andy Appleton to lead its new dedicated sheet piling unit.
Andy’s team will be part of the Specialist Piling division led by Dave Warner and will broaden the Groups’ range of integrated capabilities across its UK markets.
Van Elle currently undertakes less than £5m of sheet piling works per annum, primarily led by its Rail division.
Andy has worked in the construction industry for more than 30 years, and has held senior positions with a number of specialist sheet piling contractors including Sheet Piling UK and Keltbray Sheet Piling, as well as launching and manging his own business from 2006 to 2012.

I’m hoping to build on the success Van Elle has already had with sheet piling contracts and drive it forward using the experience I have accumulated over more than 30 years in the industry.”
