We are delighted to announce the signing of the Smart Motorway Programme Alliance Framework, as one of the SMP Alliance’s primary providers of piling and retaining structures.
The ten-year framework operates on a national basis and includes all future Smart Motorways projects and any retrofit programmes to existing schemes.
Smart Motorways have been an important sector for Van Elle for over ten years and through the acquisition of ScrewFast in April 2021 this position has strengthened further.
Mark Cutler, Chief Executive, said: “The Group has considerable experience gained from working on over 20 separate schemes including the recent completion of the M1 junction 13-15 and M4 junction 3-9 schemes, and we are now on site on the M6 junction 21-26.
“The signing of the 5–10-year Smart Motorway Alliance piling and retaining structures framework is an exciting new chapter for the Group, embedding our specialist design and construction capabilities into this important national programme at the earliest stage.”
